Intro to the new Heartland 2010 Fall Nomad team!
So, here we are.
Harim Lee

Hi!
My name is Harim Lee, a Heartland Nomad! Just a brief intro about myself: I am South Korean, 22-years old and passionate about North Korea. As I am writing this, my team and I are driving across a desert in Texas. I’m really excited to be traveling to the heartland. Texas! Yeah yeah! It’s beautiful here.
I wish I could make this intro more interesting, but the only things I can think of to say about myself is that I love literature and Hawaiian BBQ. I love East Asian and Middle Eastern literature and I can’t live without Hawaiian BBQ! What I would do for a seafood-BBQ combo right now….
I love LiNK, I love everyone at LiNK and I love what we are doing. I hope that we can all work together to achieve LiNK’s goals and missions!
Brendan Horgan

I first met Brendan at a secret conference where he discovered the secrets of quantum physics. Then I learned he graduated MIT at the age of 14. He has climbed the tallest mountain on every continent, in one week. He has wrestled grizzly bears in Alaska, ridden lions through the Serengeti, and tamed man-eating tigers in Malaysia. He’s travelled to outer-space in a rocket he built with his bare hands, he round-house kicked Chuck Norris in the face, and serves as mayor in a village in the amazon jungle. He’s toured with U2, recorded albums with Ben Harper, jammed with Dave Matthews, and doesn’t know who Justin Bieber is. For fun he shows Bear Grylls how to survive, hunts sharks with a knife, and surfs tsunamis. But the most exciting thing he has ever done is BE A NOMAD!

Rene Jomatheu

Hello My name is Rene - I am a heartland nomad.. I love playing basketball and hanging out with my friends. I’m a pretty outgoing guy. This summer I went out on an adventure where I didnt know where it would take me, and that was to Torrance, CA were I found my new love.. The North Korean human rights crisis is something that I fell in love with all because of LiNK. I first found out about LiNK through my school and my cousin, and after my first taste of being a nomad in the summer I knew I had to come back in the fall. So with that said I would like to be here until the Koreas are one.
Peace.
Caleb Skytte

Hey guys, my name’s Caleb and I’m a nomad originally from Washington state. I had no idea that I would be joining LiNK as a nomad until the middle of August - so it’s been a little crazy this past month. I love photography, so I’m planning on taking plenty of photos during my time on the road! Before this turns into a Facebook “about me”, I’m going to cut it short and just say that I’m super stoked to be on the road and meet you all out there in the Heartland!!
On the way to New Mexico…
